I can relate to Moshe (Moses) in this Psalm. Verse 12 says; So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Followed later in Verse 17 - And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.
As the Psalm outlines for us, we are here but for a fleeting time. All of our efforts to live this life as our own master is for naught.
A life lived for the purpose God has put us here for is the only fruitful way to live.
So yes, just as Moshe asked of God, I do as well; Please show me Your meaning for my life in these last years that I have, let it all be for your glory. Establish my work in Your Kingdom and give me the wisdom to recognize it.
